Re-Discovery

One of my friends just asked me on tips to develop more humor
The reason quoted was to wake up from a very long stupor
The outcome intended was witty, but the circumstances faced were one of pity
What do you think should one do when one continues to encounter calamity?

Life may be at cross-roads, but should one be cross with the roads
Life’s moments may be filled up thinking up butter and bread, but do you let away your life to be shred
The long lasting grass grows and sways with the wind, but does one leave his mind to forever find
And discover the forgotten wisdom of the ages experienced now just as a life size mirage

The stage was set for the eventual drama to gradually unfold
The mystery of the moment for a moment left me cold
I found it difficult to accept that the story though very bold
Did not fill the traditional mould and hence not getting sold

Slowly there arose a brain-wave even without attending any conclave
As he discovered the lost courage to step out of his own self dug grave
To many who were naïve, it seemed to be a very close shave
The one who had learnt not to rave finally discovered his own cave

The tumor was gone and got replaced by the tickling funny bone
Exit the clone and with it the dull, damp and squid monotone
There was a charge in the room, and a squish of the broom
Announcing that there was more space to look beyond doom

The man had arrived and seemingly found his long lost destiny
He had to face a mutiny but finally discovered harmony
He had to face freedom with the blink of every eye
To truly understand that life is not worth living with a sigh!
