There is little left to be described about your contribution when people face a storm
Those who believe in you unconditionally spend time waiting for your yearly birthday
They never forget your monthly birthdays and many a time routinely fast and pray

Let us talk about your annual birthday celebration that is a mega festival in our state
It gets people together to collectively pray and take positive steps beyond destiny’s fate
It is never too early or late for people to come and pay their respects during your annual visit
It gives them the peace of mind they seek especially when the feeling is their life has taken a hit

Every believer pays obeisance in no small measure and wishes to satisfy you in some measure
It may be milk or fruit or your favourite coconut cake or just spend time with you in leisure
Every believer worships and gives spirit to your form as per how he relates to you at that moment
They are also cognizant of the reality of impermanence and how you teach them to live in present

You are forever ready to satisfy the never ending desires of your devotees who multiply every year
You have your ways of creating employment and source of money distribution that eliminates fear
You ensure people come together and voluntarily donate funds that support a noble cause
They are like a parallel economy that operates and may otherwise never have seen light of the day

The creation of this Universe starts commanding a different value and premium during your sojourn
There are those who have literally counted days and nights for when you finally hit the home run
Your mere presence removes all pain, grief, guilt, hurt, or any negative emotions that they harbour
You help raise the collective awareness and the negative energies start flowing towards the shore

As you need to find your way back to your home with a promise that you will come back soon
Your well wishers find it difficult to let go and continue to hold on till the last lap of the moon
You have come and ensured that your creations of this Universe feel protected and in safe hands
You can’t deny that the frailties of mankind will always keep us from searching for the magic wand!

I often introspect and question on how easy is it to live a life of awareness
There seems to be no ready answers in this internal quest for eternal success
I often wonder on the source for wisdom the possibilities that seem endless
The evolution of mankind over the ages has left behind a legacy that is timeless

I often question whose sense of judgment is right – mine or the world
There always comes only one response – Never ever only follow the herd
I often question on the advice given by the world as against my own views
There always comes only one response – The inner conviction will provide the clue

I often question on the reason why my tastes and preference vary from those in my network
There always comes a ready response – Every being is special and a unique piece of artwork
I often question on the reason why some people influence the world more than the other
There always comes a ready response – The passion determines success of advocacy neutral of weather

I often question on what truly matters – decisions made from the head or from the heart
There always comes a ready response – The right actions are never sown from feelings of hurt
I often question on what truly matters – to live a life on individual choices or those of society
There always comes a ready response – The still waters of the ocean never provide any surety

I often question on what are the parameters that helps one determine a life of right conduct
There always comes a ready response – Never get biased since every situation is a unique test

I often wonder on situations that seem to conflict in my eternal quest to achieve a fine balance

I often wonder on the senseless actions undertaken by mankind in its varied form

It takes its form at its own specific pace
It derives its respect from the purpose and space
It earns its name as per the place where it is lit
It spreads its wings as per the fuel in its toolkit

It joins the dots through the cycle of life
It connects body and soul as does fruit and knife
The presence of it provides succour and relief
The absence of it causes mankind strife and grief

It gives a flavour of the ever shining & radiant Sun
It provides warmth and heat where there is none
It helps one convert a raw product into an evolved soul
It helps one introspect in getting guided to one’s natural pole

It is necessary to let go the ego of the burning cauldron
It may never reveal itself unless you step out of your own kingdom
It may never guarantee you the privileges of universal stardom
Being conscious of it every moment may guarantee you eternal wisdom!

Mother's Day Special

My Dear Mother, just your presence makes the day itself very special
It brings back all the memories that we enjoyed when you were fit and well
The efforts you have taken at every stage to instil in right values and conduct
The moments when our actions and behaviour may have led you to silently fret

The school picnics and follow-up with teachers on extra measures of caution
The annual vacations and travels to native place and beyond were absolute fun
The chanting of hymns and prayers together with stories sensitized us on our culture
The practice of eating and feeding us together helped us to learn to share and nurture

The annual practice of making pickles and rice papadum ensured we got out of our cage
The lessons provided on preparing food at home provided us experience at an early age
The extra discount that we got since vendors used to come home and say you were a lucky charm
The annual pickling of raw mangoes, lemon, tamarind and berries got us exposed to nature’s farm

It was not easy that you worked and had to come home to see me often sick and down with fever
You never lost time in getting me to our doctor and whose pills promptly brought down the shiver
There were times when I injured myself badly and required stitches all over and plenty of rest
You were always there and now I realize that your endurance may have been put to the highest test

You had to delicately balance work and home and I always looked forward to you coming from work
Every day you brought home some delicacy and I used to pounce on it like a hungry shark
I used to wait for the weekend when I could see you at home the entire day and not just after dark
I was ignorant of your challenges when I used to insist you stay back at home and not go to work


The visit to the temples and celebration of festivals at home was always joyful and memorable
The train travels with books and food thrown in was a package that was joyful and irresistible
The stories with co-passengers and exchange of books and purchase of souvenirs at every shop
The short visits at various destinations was interesting and I looked forward to the next stop

The bathing of the elephants was respectful and feeding the giraffe provided a sense of admiration,
The sight of crocodiles and reptiles from close quarters provided a sense of nature’s appreciation
The visits to parks and sanctuaries at an early age exposed us to nature’s beauty and abundance
The stories woven around nature made me respect and nurture it every bit without any pretence

The time has moved on and we have evolved over time in terms of our biological age & brain
I just desire that I could go back in time and reset the clock to be a child and see you young again
It hurts to see you getting older and sick and getting constrained due to a medical condition
I fervently hope that there can be a miracle and I can see you living a life without limitation

The Universe runs at its own pace and terms and we all learn with age, experience and time
I can now relate to what you may have sacrificed to bring me up when you were in your prime
I always remember and relate to what you had done at every stage of our life evolution
I try to recreate what I had seen you do and how you would have done if you were now in action

I can say with humility that I have been taught to respect all and not lead a life of pretension
I can say with surety that I owe my life to your selfless love, aspiration and nature’s role in creation
I can say with honesty that you inspired me to dream and think big with your pragmatic narration
I can say with pride that I owe my life to your own sense of determination and utmost dedication!

Passing Generation

It just seems the other day that we were young and were always in a mood of joy and cheer
The reality however comes to bite when we hear about a near and dear one passing away
The time is ticking away and it seems that the previous generation is on the last leg of the relay
The reality however comes to bite whether we are ready to shoulder the baton and enter the fray

We need to be conscious of every event of life that has to occur sooner or later
The reality however may present a different picture where mass may not equal to matter
We may not be conscious of the changing road-map in our utter oblivion to evolution
The reality however is that we are part of the relay chain that may end in dissolution

The presence of the actors in the play is a reality that may never continue to exist
The holding on to memories is a reality akin to a log in the ocean that continues to drift
It is important to live in the present and provide joy and cheer to all those who are current
It is equally important to be prescient and understand the universe as we stay in our tent

Many a time our emotions get affected by nature of memories that has left its unique mark
It is important to realize that we only decide whether the source destination is water or rock
It requires a deep discipline to be able to connect to the sublime energy of the large Universe
It requires an intent to commit to a life that has no road-map and every step is itself a verse!

Insight

It is difficult to realize whether the passing thoughts are a new insight
The experiences of life as it evolves are as varied and similar as day and night
It needs one to regularly step back, reflect and act to scale up the levels of maturity
It may need one to correct conditioned thoughts and behaviour centred on desirability

Every single moment is a unique occurrence that will never recur
Many a time we get stuck up in legacy or future and let ourselves suffer
Every time one may put up a defence that there is no hidden intent
Many a time lack of understanding causes pain and misalignment

Every experience as it occurs seems to convey a message every day
It seems that we are messengers of a relay and have our roles to play
It seems very unwise of us to not smell the ground after the rain
The soil is always ripe and fertile if you are willing to let go your reign

Each time we attempt to convince others of our path we move away from the purpose
Every flower blooms at its own pace and does not need the help of an external compass
Each time there is resistance and misunderstanding there needs to be a soul search
Each time it is an opportunity to observe the surroundings like the bird sitting on the perch!

The hard disk has been reformatted and the desktop screensaver has now a clean slate
It is difficult to fathom the files that got created over time that was adding on to the weight
It is all too easy to overlook our self conduct when in moments of despair we blame our fate
Every moment has the depth of meaning when it conveys that for a new start it is never too late

It is not just a paternalistic advice when it is said that we need to let go events of the past
The miracles of this world are proof enough of our limited understanding of potential that can be vast
Every moment needs to be absorbed in entirety and we need to stay alert and be fully present
It is reality that gets spoken when it is said that we have taken a mortal form that is purely on rent

The moments in history are captured in our timelines and we seek out occasions to unite and celebrate
It may be all the more ecstatic if we could weed out negative emotions and move into proactive state
We have found reasons to delay decisions and actions in the guise of waiting for the right time
It is for naught that elders berate the acts of procrastination by when many have lost their prime

Time is slipping by and it is imperative that we realize and accept responsibility for every action
We have all the chances to speak up and act wisely rather than end up feeling a victim of coercion
The consistency of the never ending waves have been cultivated over time with practice and persistence
The synchronicity of the Universe needs to be understood with respect and not be an act of social pretence

It is again a new welcome start to our time calendar and we need to make the right choices
We need to have the strong conviction and stay focused on our dreams and avoid distraction
We need to believe that we can author the plot of our story and we need to visualize our outcome
We need to trust the Universe as it comes together to help us re-write history in our life sojourn!

Inner Creation

It is a joyous moment to watch you my baby enter this mortal world
Let go the safety of the mother’s womb and courageously join the herd
As you stepped out with your eyes closed akin to being in a deep trance
I instinctively wanted to protect you in my arms and allay your entry cries

It was a proud moment when you entered my arms with all your innate trust
I was wordless and only kept looking at your shining face radiant and bright
You nestled into my arms cosy and quiet, and expressed an unspoken connect
I wanted to forever hold you in my arms when dear ones wanted to embrace you

It was difficult when the nights came since you were protected in the baby room
I waited for you early in the morning when you were brought back in full glory and form
It was difficult to describe how you connected with me soon and shared an understanding
Others found it difficult to figure out how you became calm as soon as you entered my hands

I tried to make them realize that you absorb every moment and understand every word
I stopped when I figured out that every man has diverse views and conditioned by his herd
I had a hard time when you dozed off and it was in your interest to place you on the bed
It was a privilege to see you smile and the first couple of yawns as you came out of slumber

I realized that you wanted to be unbound as you began to break free and take your hands out
It was a delicate balance since you also felt warm when wrapped while observing the world
It was a thrill when I fed you milk during the initial days and you stopped your hunger cries
I knew it was a short lived affair since your mother will take over as per the laws of nature

As you got habituated to your feed from your mother you seemed to expect the same from me
As I comforted you on my shoulder you blissfully were indifferent to a mother and a father
I had a thought that Nature could be more adaptive and pleasure of feeding could be shared
I also realized that Mother Nature has evolved its Laws that has withstood the test of time

It was fun when dear ones began to compare your features to those of me and your mother
It seemed that you were a perfect combination taking in my eyes and nose of your mother
Your had your sweet lips and chin up like me and a chubby face like your darling mother
You seemed to want the ideal combination integrating both of us in your blood group composition

As you held on to my fingers with your tender hands it made me want to weave a protective cover
Your brief affliction with baby jaundice had you stay away from us on and away for a couple of days
Your hardship was fortunately short-lived and we could leave the hospital back to sweet home
You got captured on camera with the catalyst that managed and enabled your entry into this world

It was the first ride of your life outside the protected precincts of the hospital environment
You were blissfully asleep all through the ride through the jostle of the roads and nonstop traffic
You reached our home, connected with the Divine and started soaking in the energy of the origin
You had your first feed at your abode and had an Induction session to make you feel at home

It was a difficult time to let you go and have you stay with your mother at her maternal abode
I escorted you home and it was a new environment and I could not have enough of you
You made us stay up the nights and slept in the morning, possibly indicating a trend that may follow
I realize that we will need to be disciplined to honour your uninhibited trust in us for your growth

It is a great feeling and our duty and responsibility to rear you over your life time
I look forward to hold your hands along the complete journey and flow with Nature’s rhyme
I wish you all the best things that the Universe can offer you and pledge you my support
It is going to be fun my baby as we explore this world as we journey together sailing in our boat!

The Joy of the Moment

The time just flows past as the water of the countless streams
The memories of the present becomes a past in just a moment
The plans for the future are as uncertain as a waterfall descent
The life in the present moment is all that one can be conscious

The reminiscences of the past is just that a part of history
The thoughts of the future is just that an unknown mystery
The life in the present can be lived with conscious mastery
The life in hindsight doing the right thing lends itself to harmony

It just requires discipline on every facet of our human existence
It may seem difficult to face up to reality given our human frailty
It may seem impossible since we have diverse roles and needs
It may seem odd to give up desires that we have learned to feed

If we introspect in the current moment, we will realize the eternal truth
There is nothing of the past and the future and we all tread the same route
If we remain fully conscious in every moment we are completely attentive
There will be no regrets nor suffering and actions will be completely effective!

Birthday Month

It is once again a privilege to live my birthday month
A time that makes me reflect on my personal front
It has been a journey rich with diversity of emotions
A walk through the Universe as it completes its motion

I remember my childhood and the memories flash back
Every moment comes alive as I get surrounded by the pack
The moments of grief makes me accept the frailty of life
The joyful memories trigger a smile as I salute the way of life

I find it difficult to decode the concurrent patterns of complexity & synergy
I find it easier to digest Nature’s visual delight and melody that resonate harmony
I find it shocking to encounter people who make utter misuse of power and money
I connect better with those who live a life filled with humour and taste of honey

I am witness to the fast pace as the years seem to gradually slide away
I am cognizant of the imprints that I will leave behind in the Universal play
I am not aware of the trajectory of my future path nor the collective destiny
I am mindful of the short lived dynamic life changes that classify a mutiny

I thank my circle of family and friends who have stood beside me
I am glad for every experience that has made me wiser with time
I understand and acknowledge that in the end life will finally pause
I pray and sincerely hope that I get to play a part for a better cause!

A Second Chance

Life always offers us every moment a handful of choices to make
It does not discern amid man-made priorities to latch on to stakes
It does not prefer nor does it demand any special attention or care
It is always open and encourages mankind to go beyond surface glare

It seems odd that time passes by but its presence is noted only on special dates
It always makes me wonder of the moment when everything started on a clean slate
It seems odd that the same moments on most days appears to be bland
It is weird that on a defined date the celebrations are special and grand

What prevents us from treating every moment with the requisite love and affection
Is it our habits needing a reason to go beyond routine to truly embrace our passion
Is it a lack of purpose that makes us unmindful of the unforgiving passage of time
Is it sheer inertia that we refuse to wake up and directly support the heinous crime

Can we pool our resources spent on indulgent celebrations for any noble cause
We can still get a high akin to the joy of registering a win after suffering a loss
Can we stop getting drained of sustaining energy and direct it to constructive use
We can avoid unproductive days and look forward to life akin to a joyful cruise

Time moves on and it is we who press the play or pause button as we run our race
We can at best review but not press the forward button that will come at its own pace
We can always be mindful of the present as we play out our roles and are centre stage
We only need to treat every moment with care and give respect as it turns another page!

The Life Show

The entry gate pass did not come in easy

Multiple challenges followed on the way

Responsibilities made indulgence a rarity

The road to the stage did not come with clarity


The choice to comply with Nature’s Universal laws

The experience of feeling the young ones up & close

The pleasure involved in shaping their independence

The feelings of déjà vu in observing them get off the fence


The gratification in observing their growth and success

The contentment in observing them building their own nest

The daily duties in life may have seemed to over time recede

The conscience does not permit one to be selfish and proceed


The group dynamics may draw one to still want to contribute

The mind and will power may prod but the body may refute

The expectations of one’s creation may still possibly be sky high

The soul attachment may yet lead one to silently bear the blow


The inner mechanism may seem to be tearing one completely apart

The conflict of love and sacrifice may yet lead one to silently pull the cart

The external persona may not reflect the dynamics within one’s life

The facade of joy and enthusiasm may make one silently bear the strife



The entry to the grounds brought one in tune with the larger world

The joy of observing and connecting with a homogenous herd

The life seemed to have completed a full circle and planets seem to align

It is a complete package and one’s actions influences the glowing star shine!

Blessings and Bliss

It is such a joyful moment, when you are blessed with a bundle of joy

The innocent natural responses needs you to react and adopt a diverse ploy

It may take some time to sink in that you have contributed to its conception

It may take a life time to enjoy and experience the uniqueness of your creation



The soul has selected you and has placed its complete faith in your competence

It may seem that fundamentals in life has changed but it is not a coincidence

The time was ripe for you to start co-contributing to your role in Nature’s history

It may take life-times but it is not yet easy to take a position on the Universal mystery



The laughter and cries of the divine creation need you to remain calm yet constantly engage

The urge to satisfy all their needs and be the best parent tests your mental fortitude and courage

The inner conflicts of self doubt and audacity may yet test your resolve and positive intent

The Universe feeds you the energy that you may long for and reward you with patience abundant



The material world opens its arms wide and welcomes the new set of foot print to write its own chapter

The environment will be crucial to shape its destiny and more specifically to shape its character

The zeal and momentum needs to be sustained and one may never realize how years accumulate

Valentine Date

The net was long since cast with an extra-large sized bait
The hopes were very strong to attract my soul mate
Time passed by and I was perfectly fine and willing to wait
There were times though when I thought only I was late

The days sped by and years began to accumulate
Well-wishers suggestions began to recede of late
It seemed they had accepted it as my own fate
I was yet positive of meeting up with destiny’s date

Time passed me by as I was living in my own small world
The bees and the birds may have found me to be weird
Lost in my thoughts and not yet entrapped in the herd
I though looked at my life incidents as the flight of the bird

The Universe was consciously enacting its part in the play
Testing moments at regular intervals made me fervently pray
The Divine forces collaborated to ensure they have the final say
The invite was sent to facilitate my easy entry and join in the fray

The pact with destiny is now sealed and a new chapter will unfold
The first steps have been taken and I need to let go of my old mould
I pretend to be bold as I begin the journey to partner my soul mate
I though can now positively say that I have found my Valentine Date!

Radical Spirit - Move Your Glacier

A child is born, happiness in the family
Initial Enthusiasm, then steps in Monotony
Initial pampering, then the tampering,
Start of the journey to live a mechanical existence

Charged up Spirit aims to bring about change
Curiosity to learn and do all that comes within range
Never a doubt of limitations on what one can absorb
Questioning relevance of the same makes heart throb

Difficult to tie down an inspired radical spirit
Not the one to cow down to pressures one bit
Manipulation of any order may force them to quit
Loss of the Universe for success in creating more shit

Another chance to decide your own contribution
Move beyond respiration and counts of frustration
No need to search for external beads of inspiration
One just needs to move beyond the initial hesitation

It is your only life and you are responsible for every choice

Change of Flow

Many a time there are sudden changes in life’s direction
Some may be positive and others may be a difficult transition
Many events may seem to be a disruption during occurrence
Some can never ever be written-off despite lack of recurrence

The change of flow may catch one by shock or welcome surprise
The ability to act and maintain composure is akin to the roll of dice
The knack of managing emotions comes from life experiences
The ability to sustain momentum needs one to get off the fence

Many a time we resist the change of flow even if irreversible
It may be wiser to be accommodating and keep one more flexible
Many a time we argue and remain adamant and inflict self cruelty
It is nothing but our individual frailty to not acknowledge reality

Many a time we may need to relook at our relationships of old
We may be holding on to memories that may no longer hold
Many a stubborn attachment makes it difficult to let go the past
We may neither enjoy the present nor recognize the future vast

It may help to learn from the lessons imparted by elders and seers
It may be better to reflect and go beyond the surface level ear
It may take time to sort out the clutter and go beyond one’s inner frights
It may be time well spent if it helps one live with clarity of insights!

FLOW OF LIFE

Every moment of life is precious
Every emotion of life is infectious
Every breath of life fills up energy
Every event of life has its synergy

Every drop of water gives a new birth
Every single harvest has its own worth
Every spark of fire can create own light
Every single star can radiate very bright

Every sound can be music to the ears
Every wind flow brings its own cheer
Every being can get caught in the maze
Every atom in nature fights for its space

Every single step in this journey can come alive
Every person can get drawn like a bee to its hive
Every single word spoken or written is sacrosanct
Every action intentional or otherwise has an impact

Life flows on as the mighty ocean waves hits the shore
It has its peaks and troughs as it recedes to the inner core
Life flows on as events unfold at its pace and tightens its hold
It reveals its glorious form when you look also beyond the pot of gold!

Status-Quo

Life is comfortable when you exist in status quo
No need to take effort and stretch even for a while
Why bother about travelling the long distance
Life seems better and no need to get off the fence

Life is a matter of habit and change requires effort
No need to bother unless challenges surmount your fort
Life’s events will occur as destined by the Creator
No need to take initiative else may end up in the Crater

The practices of the past just needs to be blindly followed
One only needs to put on an act as if coming from the heart
The blind believers will always be a closely knit group
The disgruntled will disappear when ignored by the troop

Life is peaceful when the same routine is diligently followed
Set your daily actions to follow the movement of the Sun
Avoid the contact of those who have a divergent thought
There is a risk that you may fall and all may come to naught

Life is nothing but taking actions between the first and final breath
Why bother about other’s views when you want life to be a vacation
It takes time and effort to reprogram one’s thought process and worth
There are lifetimes and it may be better to put it off for future births


Heredity and genetic coding can be taken in as a reason to suit one’s identity
Life experiences can be used as a prime example to uphold one’s case validity
Life appears so very calm and serene and just need to ignore allegations of rigidity
It is agonizing that people give unwanted advice that provides nothing to the kitty!

Life Passage

The Life is passing me by
Every day starts and ends
The menu on the Cards
Has no sign of any change

The need for the body
The daily food required
The work to earn my bread
Is the only connecting thread

No time to speak to people
At times don’t feel the need
No time to pursue any hobby
Wonder about my existence

The work keeps me busy
I ponder on my life
The moments are passing by
I admire and let out a sigh

The future turned into my past
The present will too turn soon
I wish to let go memories of past
It comes back with a full cast

I wonder about plans for the future
I realize the plain unpredictability
I yet need to follow a set pattern
I live in a society firmly housed in a pen

It seems that I should follow my gut
I realize that books call it animal instinct
It seems that it may give a better life
I don’t need to hold on to any strife

I better forget incidents as it happens
I live in the present as I am at that time
I need never put up an act filled with tact
I just need to be with no worries of impact

Let people choose to indulge in action
I have no right as people move in motion

I know that one day the body will be gone
I may get the hunch when the end is near
I know that thinking about the same is futile
I need to live and not worry about the last mile

I can just go all out and make a new discovery
I can just reach out and create history
I need just step out of my enclosure
I need to outgrow other’s measure

I know that it should happen by self
I know that it should not be by design
I know that the connect will be instant
I know that the effect will be permanent

I don’t know about what I know
I know though of what I know
It may not the right time to let all know
It will by self happen when all will know!

Life Passage

The Life is passing me by
Every day starts and ends
The menu on the Cards
Has no sign of any change

The need for the body
The daily food required
The work to earn my bread
Is the only connecting thread

No time to speak to people
At times don’t feel the need
No time to pursue any hobby
Wonder about my existence

The work keeps me busy
I ponder on my life
The moments are passing by
I admire and let out a sigh

The future turned into my past
The present will too turn soon
I wish to let go memories of past
It comes back with a full cast

I wonder about plans for the future
I realize the plain unpredictability
I yet need to follow a set pattern
I live in a society firmly housed in a pen

It seems that I should follow my gut
I realize that books call it animal instinct
It seems that it may give a better life
I don’t need to hold on to any strife

I better forget incidents as it happens
I live in the present as I am at that time
I need never put up an act filled with tact
I just need to be with no worries of impact

Let people talk what they want to
