My Dearest Father,
It is a hundred days past since I saw your physical presence
A life that you always led, a life without pretense
A life that you demonstrated the values of share and care
Without having any expectation from anyone near and dear
A life that you led without incessantly worrying about worldly gain
Yet tried your best always to alleviate other’s suffering and pain
A life that you led with complete belief and trust in humanity
A life that may have led some to lose temper and periodical sanity
You periodically admitted the challenges faced due to other’s vanity
Yet were not able to muster courage to confront the human frailty
You had an inherent sense of fear regards outcome of the final end
Yet you were presented with an end that could only be labeled as god send
Your physical presence is strongly missed yet your memories have the final say
As we aim to live through another day, we pray almighty to always shower his ray
We can only pledge to carry forward the legacy of love, share, care and peace
As we endeavor to live through life with the lessons & values you had us inculcate
We will strive to never let you down as we live a life of principle
We pray that you continue to guide us as we forever remain an earnest disciple

It was really touching... poem about your father.. and I know how much each of those lines meant.. as this one is truly special and heartfelt...
Happy to note that you are moving to some " happy" poetry and more similes and metaphors and not just rhyming schemes.....as discussed last time... tc;)
Touchy and emotional one! Every memory sends chill down the body to believe that they are around us but still not there.
tc
Yes. The first time in my remembrance when I have not wished Dad on his birthday. If he was present he would have been 75 on May 25.
