Solstice

It is the week of Solstice, when the alumni re-unite
When they look back with pride on shared moments of delight
When they think of their friends who journeyed them in their dreams of flight
When they began to develop insights, having the entire world in their sight

A time spent together, when each of them at some point shared the limelight
A time spent together doing group projects through crazy nights of fright
A time spent together searching for solutions within their mite
A time spent together sharing internal conflicts, searching for the ray of light

But then came a time, when everyone found a different direction
The environment was full of confusion, in search of compatibility with personal vision
The struggle of evolution and need for differentiation contributed to frequent bouts of frustration
The stage was finally set for having a result oriented intention, through the unique model of self introspection

Then came the day of convocation, a time to enjoy the results of the past year not without beads of perspiration
The time to march out to become a role model of inspiration, by constantly living out their passion
The final moments clouded all past experiences of depression shared together in the short lived association
The intent was communicated to keep everyone informed through varied journeys of each other's creation

Now we are again togeher, to reinforce our commitment to one another
To share the same stage, and become aware of the latest development of our alma mater
The time is ripe to indulge in goal setting, develop a common vision, get involved in a new creation
The stage is ripe for strengthening the foundation, indulge in radical innovation and come out with a positive declaration!

New Drug Development

As we are inspired to take on the mantle of Innovative Drug Development
Realization is speedily dawning on us that high value lies in Abbreviated New Drug Application

The focus needs to be in getting certification, a process that involves review of existing patent information,
The process involves being caught in complex litigation, but should not constrain the efforts in creating a new formulation

The focus should be on strategic integration of development efforts at Product Identification and Selection
One should go all out to come out with breeakthrough drurg introduction, and not discover drugs only through chance observation,

The focus should be on influencing the future by getting into consolidation, especially in an era of ever changing Governnment Regulations,
The final validation would lie in being the first to benefit from Commercialization and continue to scale up the business model even beyond the 180 days period of exclusion
