Relationships Matter

My dear friend so spoke the wise angels who had converged together at my place for the first time
Let us speak about the importance of relationships as human lead their lives beyond their prime
When man is full of vitality and his energy is solely focused on advancing his cause of earning a dime
He may unconsciously commit a folly in avoiding human company and blame it on the lack of time

Every man has the power to choose the way he consciously spends his time on a daily basis
Some prefer to stay solitary lives and avoid interacting with the world without examining their beliefs
Some prefer to stay single when their social interactions seems to have resulted in moments of grief
Some prefer to make efforts to influence the world and either persist or drop-out when they turn weak

Every man has the potential opportunity to develop diverse nature of relationships with common folk
He can have a common cause that brings him together or a common interest that helps initiate a talk
He may hold some grudges with those who have divergent views on the way world needs to operate
He may never acknowledge the good qualities in them since he refuses to examine his mental state

He may fluctuate in displaying extreme emotions that others around him may never be able to relate
He may believe others are unfair and need to control their urges and no longer wildly vacillate
He may turn judgmental about people or their actions that even possibly result in relationships of hate
He may not turn inwards trying to examine his values and beliefs that may eventually impact his fate

He may justify all his actions of not forming relations a result of his trying experiences in the world
He may avoid social interactions remembering only sour experiences handed out by destiny’s card
He may unconsciously not understand the implications of his actions or inactions on his own brethren
He may find it difficult to digest their emotional outburst when it comes for reason that he can’t fathom


As he grows older he turns inwards but his needs may necessitate him to look for external support
If he has never have spent time relating with people in better times he can ill afford to visit their court
If when he was younger and could develop a stronger foundation he decided to weaken his fort
He would need to consider himself lucky should in times of need others refuse to play spoil sport

One needs to remember that relationships develop over time and requires one to invest his effort
One needs to render help without having any expectations that in times of need he will get support
One needs to demonstrate love and affection to people who in various forms he gets to interact
One needs to be equally detached so as to not lose one’s sleep when desires conflicts with fact!

A Final Escapade

I thought of running away from the pulls and pressures of this heartless mortal world
I could walk no more than a couple of yards before I was pulled back by the directionless herd

I thought that I can stay away from hospitals and avoid the misery and agony of the daily pain
I could not avoid sickness that stayed back at my home and contributed to ill-health and loss of gain

I thought I could proactively avoid people who demonstrated the highest levels of negative attitude
I could not turn them away from my door when they attacked in pairs and tested my levels of fortitude

I thought I could avoid interaction with folks who in this life had done little beyond listing their demand
I could do little beyond wearing an arm band voicing my protest when my life began to go out of hand

I thought I will be the change that I seek in this world and set out with high levels of idealistic outlook
I realized that every man in this world will undertake course correction on facing his own road block

I thought I should share my set of experiences and provide feedback to others about their behaviour
I realized that man loves praise but does not like others to point out perceived flaws in their armour

I thought I could be open and transparent about my inner-world with those who I considered close
I realized the world to be an opaque place and it does not take much for one to literally come to blows

I thought that I could share my deeper desires and voice out my point of view on areas of change
I realized the value of silence in maintaining sanity and limiting extent of damage within a set range

I thought that I could also expect help from the same people to whom I selflessly rendered support
I realized that one may be on a set of crutches yet has no right to expect help while defending his fort

I thought that I could persuade others to live an independent life and learn to live an enriching life
I realized that I could do little to influence others when they had no desire to let go a life of strife

I realized that I may have expected my universe to comprise of events filling it with a set colour
I recognized that one needs inner wisdom to sustain a fulfilling life beyond shield of external valour

I realized that what was seen and what was reality may have been as different as sugar and salt
I realized that was the ways of the world and Nature exhibited variety and it was no one’s fault

I realized that there was no escape but to live and stand up for your own set of values and belief
I recognized that one should let go of any expectations of desiring others to turn a new leaf

I realized that one needs to only stand up to your own conscience and internal probes and scrutiny
I understood that the seeker of truth needs to surrender and lets nature direct the flow and wisely avoids mutiny!

Absorb the Moment

The wise of this Universe firmly extol the benefits of being alert and fully living in the present
Living with memories of the past or wishful thinking of the future leads to a steady descent
Man creates his own set of challenges when he fails to absorb the essence of every moment
One need not undertake radical transformation at once but can steadily eliminate clutter in his tent

It is so very easy to conjure up excuses to avoid taking up responsibility for bringing about change
One needs to accept complete ownership for his life rather than expect external factors to re-arrange
One should avoid old habits blaming life circumstances as primary reasons for not making his mark
One need not be restricted by genetic make-up or conditioned beliefs that fail to provide light in the dark

It is so comfortable to avoid taking positive steps and blame your destiny for all your experiences
It is so comfortable to believe that you have nothing within your control to alter your own providence
You may have internalized beliefs that may be inconsistent and yet contribute to your current reality
You may need to develop new paradigm that seem even radical to you rather than wallow in self pity

You can elevate your life with conscious endeavour and you need to start by eliminating your fear
You need not think about the time that it will take nor depend on support of people to help you steer
You need to consciously stop thinking of unhappy memories that you associate as personal failure
You need to focus and creatively visualize on positive images that helps you alleviate your pressure

You need to only entertain positive thoughts that ensures no entry to energies that pulls you down
You need to avoid people who seem to infect you with a virus that fails to lift you out of your zone
You need to steadily un-clutter your life as you aim to find your true path and calling of your soul
You need to believe in the higher power to work up synchronicity and help achieve your final goal!

The Gift of Perception

I had heard about the wise seers of the past who had the unique gift of perception
They were endowed with a razor sharp awareness in assessing any given situation
They had practised austerity and conducted penance to raise their levels of evolution
They lived a simple and disciplined life and gained mastery over their senses and emotion

They also may have faced distractions and may have been subjected to objects of attraction
They also may have had to face various challenges that raised its hood in the form of temptation
They also may have faced various hardships as they exercised their will through self restriction
They also may have gone through various phases of self-evaluation as they focused on perfection

They may also have faced challenges of time in terms of deciding the next course of action
They may also have had differences of opinion with people and their conduct in their daily interaction
They may also have had to interact with people who readily compromised their values on their volition
They may also have made efforts to lead a right life that may have attracted its share of opposition

The difference lay in their clarity of vision in being absolutely self-aware about their life position
They had mastered their intellect and knew the right ways to use their powers of imagination
They had high levels of self-confidence gained through a rigorous process of constructive action
They wisely used their energy only as per need and exhibited the highest levels of concentration

One needs to practice discipline with diligence and persist in face of conflicts to ensure transformation
One needs to have highest levels of self-belief in whatever you take up to ensure fool-proof execution
One needs to be at peace with self and immediate environment and demonstrate self-determination
One needs to always stay positive and demonstrate enthusiasm as you unravel your story of inspiration!

Know Thy Self

Be wise and be aware that all of us have a limited stint
Time holds every man in equal measure and similar scent
The moments tick and your decisions will determine your final impact
Being alert and conscious will help one sooner absorb the essence of the actual fact

You can’t aim to do everything in life nor aim to forever satisfy all your clan
You need to make hard choices that differentiates the true measure of man
You need to commit yourself to actions that may not always follow a steady plan
You need not get tied down by past or dive in the future but do a thorough current scan

You may not be able to connect with the mind and heart of every man that you meet
You may not be able to influence every other soul for which you need not skip a heart beat
You may make efforts to forgive and forget old relationships conflicts of the near and distant past
You need not lose sleep if others do not reciprocate but be aware that this situation will not ever last

You may never know many events in the life of those who you consider near and close
You may get occasionally surprised on hearing secrets that may strike you nasty blows
You may like to be open and transparent in all your communication in line with Nature’s flow
You need to demonstrate patience and integrity with people who have intent but no results to show

You may never know what the next moment will resemble or how your new day will unfold
You may never know the new location of your residence or work where you finally strike gold
You may never know the maximum amount of time that you are left with to share with near and old
You can be committed in your approach to reflect warmth rather than come across as selfish and cold

You are the final authority who truly knows your deepest desires more than any other soul
You can seek inputs of others without any obligation to be bound as you work on your goal
You may encounter blocks and minefields as you align your energies with the intent of striking pole
You need to remember that the so-called valued diamond is also just a derived product from coal

You may face multiple distractions as you go about trying to find your own right way
You may encounter difficult forces in your environment that may have an unhealthy sway
You may have to cope up with situations and differently minded opposition members in the fray
You need to learn to stay calm and composed and when in difficulty have faith and continue to pray

You can learn from the experiences of those who have lived their lives before you
You can benefit from the experiences of those who share a common destiny with you
You can aim to leave behind pieces of wisdom that may benefit those who will follow you
You need to remember to avoid closing your eyes and walking on a path without any sense of clue!

Now or Never

I never ever envisaged me having to hear the ultimatum of Now or Never
I seemed to have lost my visionary wit and literally had to run for cover
I never really imagined the harrowing experience in the mad fight for power
It all seemed such a petty reaction in light of the larger goal of aiming to empower

It all started with a noble thought of creating an environment where every being could thrive
The inner desire was to stay tuned with Nature and encourage each other to live and let live
It required one to be respectful of each other’s privacy and right to create their own hive
It required one to go beyond addressing only self needs and let go the illusion of appearing naive

It was such a wonderful sight, the birds made a wonderful pair, each trying to out-call the other
The hop, skip and the jump and the shining beak faced competition from the display of lovely feather
The short distance covered when they took on wings gave mixed feelings of joy, cheer as also pain
The return flight brought back smiles that one could relate with the first droplets of shower of rain

I dreamt of an environment where all species converge never wanting to have to fight for their space
I dreamt a lovely scenery where diverse species come and get exposed to the other at their own pace
I dreamt of a time when people go beyond their limited beliefs and stop limiting themselves to hearsay
I dreamt of people demonstrating freedom of thought and go beyond engaging in talks of doomsday

I very willingly brought grains to be lovingly fed to the doves that seemed to assemble in droves
I very unwittingly seemed to have polluted the habitat that now also seemed to attract cats and crows
I challenged the folks who were up in arms about their own silence to the gradual death of mangroves
I argued that my efforts were intended to sustain the inherited beauty of Nature and let it naturally flow


I was told that I need to leave behind my fantasies at home while I stepped into the real world
There was a place for non-human species and they were better off at a distance away from the herd
I had enough ammunition to counter them word for word and enough passion to control a heated fire
I had no choice but to run for my life when they warned me finally now or never to lit up my own pyre!

Just Live Differently

There are so many moments when we take positions of wanting to live our lives differently
There are many more moments with or without reason we fail to treat our lives reverentially
Many a time one’s experience in life prompts one to conduct their life respectfully
Many a time the very same set of experiences may trigger another to treat life irreverently

Many a time we wait for some opportune moment when we embrace and live out change
Many a time one ignores the challenge of the present and have one’s life re-arrange
Many a time one defines boundaries that limits one scope of work within a given range
Many a time one’s mental conditioning plays a constructive role in limiting the damage

One may like to wonder how better the world would resemble should actions and thoughts assemble
One need not wait for others in the external environment to define the scope and establish the preamble
One can drive interventions that may help others take charge of their passive lives that seem to crumble
One can by their actions be the role model influencing people to sort out their live pieces of jumble

Just agree to live life differently and give it your complete mental and emotional commitment
Follow it with small series of steps and be sensitive to others vulnerability that may result in their resentment
Charge it with adequate power that lasts long enough to fill your life with peace and contentment
Always acknowledge the blessings that illuminate your life and provides you wisdom and enlightenment!

Fresh Eyes

It does not come all too easy to re-evaluate the existing scenery with a fresh pair of lens
Especially when one is so very used to take extreme positions and not just sit on the fence
It may be basic act of going about one’s daily activities in one’s personal or professional life
It may be stretching oneself and going beyond the call of duty to alleviate community strife

Just try and force yourself in calling the lemon a melon or instead a crow a beautiful swan
It may occur to you the fresh views that you need to take as you fry your ingredients in the pan
Things may not align and fall in line as per the detailed layout of a master document or plan
Many a break-up or run-down results due to lack of flexibility in adjusting to the texture of the tan

Many a time it seems difficult to re-evaluate and identify the patterns in one’s life
Many a time it seems difficult to adapt and adjust to the swinging tides in one’s life
Many a times it seems that colours seems to shine less bright and occasionally falls out of sight
Many a time not getting the right texture or tone even results in generating a sorry fright

More often than not it is fear that predominates that seems to occupy centre stage
More often than not it lays to rest burning ambitions that seems to call out all in a rage
More often than not past mistakes comes to haunt one’s present by highlighting the dents
It calls for wisdom and maturity for one to step outside and away from one’s own created tent

It may require one to be willing to re-explore the current situation with a fresh pair of eyes
It may need one to be open to change and acknowledge a reality that stretches beyond cries
It may need one to move beyond one’s comfort zone and test the running ground water
After all sprouts create a new future only when it musters courage to break through dense matter!
