It is so very strange the ways of the world
One that we inhabit during our short stay

One gets diverse experiences every other day

All of us prefer to remain involved in our world

Every man has to face his own unique world

It is so very strange the ways of the world
Man finds it difficult to define his awareness of self

Man finds it difficult to accept his own identity of self

It is an enchanting fair that tempts you with its wares
It is just that most often its products don’t gel in a pair
It throws up myriad choices every other moment of time
It has made man believe that doing nothing is a crime

To some the obvious attractions are money, fame, and glory
To some the lack of any triggers a self depressing bout of worry
To some the fruits that attract are knowledge, awareness and health
To some they are the means to accumulate what they define as wealth

Some of us get preoccupied in the corridors of Corporate World
Some of us seek gratification in rendering Service to the World
Some of us furtively seek to discover the essence of the Spirit World
Some of us are completely lost in the over indulgences of our World

Some of us realize that it is an illusion and seek to find their way out of the maze
Some of us choose to widen their web of aspirations and periodically star gaze
Some of us realize the path they need to take but are chained by societal norms
Some of us break free from the shackles that gets perceived as an turbulent storm

It is so very strange the ways of the world
Man has unlimited desires and yet aspires for detachment
It is so very strange the ways of the world
Man ignores visible abundance amidst all the encroachment

It is so very strange the ways of the world
Man spends his life in trying his best to blend
It is so very strange the ways of the world
Man has to defend his turf until his eventual end

It is so very strange the ways of the world
Man spends his entire time to shield his external cover
It is so very strange the ways of the world
Man finds it futile when he has to encounter his hour!

Hurdle Race

Many a time situations in life seem to come across like running a hurdle race
Many a time circumstances need to be faced not necessarily at one’s preferred pace
Many a time one needs to mentally condition self to prevent one from getting dazed
Many a time one’s reaction in handling circumstances may leave one highly perplexed

Many a time the frustration that one encounters puts one into a self created bind
More often than not one may realize that the battles are actually fought in the mind
Many a time one may take resolutions to handle people sensitively and be more kind
More often than not it gets broken when one is not able to handle the rigorous grind

Many a time one may decide to let go the past and create a new future full of aspiration
More often than not emotions haunt the present leaving one panting with perspiration
Many a time one may change locations to consciously avoid contact with some faction
More often than not a collision with who you wish to avoid create scenario hard to fathom

Many a time the ways and means of the Universe and its occupants may leave one confused
More often than not one finds it difficult to accept the status quo that leaves one baffled
Many a time the focus on self priorities keeps one lost in thought and highly preoccupied
More often than not the implications of one’s current actions get lost during the lone ride

Many a time people realize at the end that one could have lived one’s life in a different way
More often than not it is too late for one to rectify the unique path chosen to enact the play
Many a time there is a feeling of regret that leaves one morose while trying to find one’s way
More often than not one feels sad at wisdom dawning late and the costs that one had to pay!

Look Within

It is better to look within us and seek solutions to the problems that we face
As has been said by the divine lord who is ever ready to cherish on us his grace
All of us may go through various cycles that may feel like being caught in a maze
We only need to be strong within and stay positive and look at it as a passing phase

Many a time when we look at the external world events may trigger us to turn critical
On hindsight and when we are in a reflective mood one’s views may appear philosophical
Many a time lack of self-control make us commit actions that is unlike normal behaviour
Even a slight amount of pus that adds up in an injury need to be not provided any favour

It is better to not have any expectations from anyone however close the relationship
One needs to acknowledge the ultimate truth that each one needs to steer his own ship
Each one of us has come alone and will depart alone and this is the ordained reality
Each one of can choose our actions to live a noble life as we accept the truth of mortality

Let us for a moment make a start and stop finding faults with people with whom we interact
Let us for a moment put in efforts to negate our observations and balance the same with tact
Let us for a moment imagine and visualize a reality that is unlike our daily reality and fact
Let us make a conscious choice to look within and find peace by signing our own inner pact!
