Pasture of Life

There are so many moments in time when we think of making a fresh start
There are tinier moments in life when we are bang on in hitting the right dart
There are so many instances of life that we wish we forever part
There are tinier instances in life when coincidences gladdens our heart

There are moments that one craves silence yet find difficult to penetrate the lens
There are moments that one seems tense yet find difficult to get off the fence
There are moments that reflect boredom, yet seem to enjoy maximum freedom
There are moments that enjoy stardom, yet want to forever avoid the forbidden kingdom

To some it is a matter of approach, a pragmatic way of looking at life
One should enjoy every experience in life be it joy or pieces of strife
To some it is a no brainer; one just has no choice in one’s destiny
Every event falls in place and it is better to avoid stress through mutiny

Thoughts of life are in a state of constant flux, a function of level of self-control
Actions of life are a direct determinant of the direction our thoughts seemingly crawl
Outcomes and experiences are a direct determinant of our ongoing action
State of mind and further thoughts are the direct consequence through our ongoing reaction

Life seems a full circle be it Action, Distraction or Reaction
Life’s events have a plan and ensure a gradual traction
Life seems well connected be it Past, Present or the Future
One just needs to learn to flow and graze along Life’s very own Pasture!

Well written poem with a bit melancholy. Perhaps influence from the opposite gender could remove that bit of melancholy and inject romance.

I have no knowledge of poetry, but this seems well written. anjeneyan
