Life all Alone

Ah, the joys and wonder of a life all alone,
The continuity in pattern between the first and last breath,
The courage to really acknowledge that you stand for self,
The maturity to understand the learning at an early age

The pleasures and pain are now all one
The cause and effect all emanate from the same source
The calmness & distress are but just a hint of emotion
The external manifestation of a life already lived and experienced

The strength to absorb the realities of life
The intensity to withstand and overcome the frailties of life
The realization that you are but what you see
The acceptance of a world with all the inner conflicts

The waves of the sea rise up and withdraw in the embrace
The lull in the mountains when the echo comes no more
The search of meaning into a journey that has survived
The belief that the drive fulfils the commitment to the whole

The sense of serenity in the air just before the rise of the sun
The sense of alignment as the day stirs up the tasks to be done,
The dusk signals the beginning of the lack of light,
The soul forever alert reflects the true source of light

The mind so cool, the life appears so fulfilling
The body so fresh, the life appear so very energizing,
The heart so peaceful, the life appears so very enchanting,
The soul so calm, the life appears to be well balanced

Ah, but the sound of the bell signals the start of the end
It was just a dream, encompassing the life at the seam
The life is laid, so do you dare to step out and come out
The start on a road less traveled, where you bare yourself inside out

The path is set, the needs you determine whether needs to be met
The craving for the delicacies of life, or realizing the power of strife
The eyes open and crave to be shut the heart pushes you to reach out for glut
The push and the pull is all that it takes to move out and conquer your external gut
