Life Line

It has always been said that across situations one always has a life line
It is just that one needs to recognize and acknowledge the given find
Many a time the opportunities are lost due to factors played out in the mind
At various points of time the ego battles refuses to let one unwind

An Adult could not have evolved from a Child without a Life Line
A Student could not have become literate and learned without a Life Line
An Adult could not have fulfilled their various desires without a Life Line
A Parent could not have reflected on his contribution without a Life Line

The Life Line may come in the form of a newly developed situation
The Life Line may come in the form of a Soul whose existence one cannot fathom
The Life Line may come in the form that one may refuse to acknowledge
The Life Line may provide indications urging one to re-look living on the edge

The form varies across situations and does not follow a steady pattern
The turn at the cross roads does not happen without any defined reason or rhyme
The naked eye may not be able to readily spot the needle in the haystack
The conscious mind may not always know how to distance itself from the pack

A body acknowledges the gift of good health when faced with disease
A mind recognizes the gift of fine balance when it develops imbalance
A heart recognizes the gift of life when it is faced with negative feelings
A spirit recognizes the gift of body on assuming a reality beyond a defined form

The obnoxious attachment refuses to accept a form beyond its defined reality
The self wrought barrier refuses to accept a life without a set pattern of flow
The wisdom may be in taking a re-look at the way one develops a perspective
The challenge may be in letting go and accepting a world that goes beyond being reactive

It may be wise to always be open and flexible to occurrences in life
One may like to consider that choices could be varied to reduce impact of strife
One may need to re-evaluate one’s entrenched values, beliefs and habits
The essence could be in comprehending the laws of Nature that seems to live by its own wit!

I am no expert on poems but here is what went in my head.

I am badly in need of a "Lifeline" to get through some difficult times and you were able to hold my attention all the way down to the first half. Then there seemed to be a loss of coherence....

Could this be broken into 2 poems? Just a thought.....
