Remove Your Mask

So many of us face a daily conflict in life when we force ourselves to wear a mask
Many a time we reconcile ourselves and claim that it is necessary to complete a task
Many a time one may claim fame and glory and be the first one to uncork the cask
Many a time we may put on a show and claim success that may cause one to bask

Many a time we go to the work place and indulge in activities that you disagree with
Many a time one goes with the opinions of colleagues that you do not concur with
Many a time one goes with the judgement of others to avoid any unnecessary conflict
Many a time one chooses to carry on with the status quo to avoid any kind of career drift

Many a time one may face relationship problems and avoid having a candid discussion
Many a time one refuses to adapt and change and this causes one to have a confrontation
Many a time one may wear a facade to only please and use various powers of persuasion
Many a time one may never realize that not being one’s natural self ends up in frustration

Many a time we carry on with the status quo and fail to focus on societal transformation
Many a time the urge to have a good name results in disguising one’s own self realization
Many a time one intuitively knows and is aware of the need to bring about a radical change
Many a time one tries to camouflage reality and shows ignorance as if life is very strange

It may help if one has the courage to face reality and views the picture as it truly emerges
It may require one to change old patterns and beliefs and face up to emotional baggage
It may require one to understand and accept that every moment you are live on stage
There is no dress rehearsal and beyond a point one can do limited to manage one’s image!

It needs courage for a man to accept his true self and be self-aware of what he stands for!

I am not even sure how many people are even aware of their true self and preferences or what they stand for.......life seems to be transactional and nobody has the guts to do something different from the routine....business as usual seems more better than facing uncertainty.
