Education

There is enough and more that has been written and spoken about education
Yet there seems a gap when it comes to recognizing your choice of vocation
One may feel spoilt for choices but reality is that each one savours only his potion
One may be ill equipped to handle reality when you need to get into rhythm and motion

One may experience his dosage of languages, arts and humanities
One may develop mastery on maths, science, trade and commerce
One may get to sip and taste from the ever brimming cup of music and dance
Despite the same man may yet reflect a daze and seems caught in a maze

One may have developed adequate knowledge on his areas of interest
Unfortunately the systems tests your brain power and not your absorption
One may unwillingly bite the bait and acknowledge the need to learn by rote
Very few develop the wisdom to cross the river in the absence of the boat

The system seems to have conditioned itself to operate in a trance
It gets uncomfortable when someone questions the efficacy and impact
It has developed a thick skin and shuts out the contrary opinions of the few
It is no wonder to experience detachment of those with a different worldly view

All may not yet seem lost and the future can still be created with love and care
It requires one to let go of attachment to past patterns and embrace a life of dare
As one experiences new lessons and insights while giving up their past self
One will appreciate that the truly educated and liberated possess no expiry date on the shelf!
