Finding Your Way Out of the Jungle

As I travelled on my path I began to observe the changing topography
There was dense foliage with hanging roots with not a hint of sunlight
At some places there was streaming sunlight and the ground was caving in
At others the land and water converged to create currents landing one in a spin

The laws of the jungle seemed to be different at various points of time
A common factor that it stressed was that only the fittest will survive their prime
A time of adversity will truly help in uncovering the true measure of man
One should learn to adapt and flow with the tide that may not be as your plan

As the log of wood came crashing down the dense overgrowth
Its impact got buffered by the dark bushes that seemed to cushion its fall
I realized the importance of developing strong and deep roots
At moments when one gets tested, it differentiates the brute from the astute

There was life that existed across all levels each finding comfort in their skin
Even a slight change in height or surrounding separated them from their kin
Those who were driven by their internal compass could find their way out of the maze
They were guided all along to find their true calling as they identified their inner direction!
