Life - A Series of Choices

Life is a series of choices that one can ill afford to just grin and continue the play
It may need you to take tough decisions on whether to exit or continue your stay
There are moments when you seem you seem to be caught up in a perennial whirl
There are times when you feel like cuddling up with all your worries drowned a while

One may like to evaluate all possible consequences of a set of hypothesis
One needs to go beyond those moments to extricate a life beyond crisis
There are situations that needs time that may have no known measure
There are sensitivities that one need to handle that may create a fissure

One cannot perennially bask in the sun and wait eternally for time to run its course
There are times when one has to be head strong and face up to hidden fears and eye sore
One may always want more information and life to be more certain and fair
It is better to acknowledge and face life as it comes in conditions of glow and tear

It is better to take the first step and be ready with sets of possible action points
Rather than wait for the perfect moment since you are not ready to repair the joint
Should it help you may like to relate the impact of decisions to life and death
You may like to live but have to face the consequences of death coming unannounced

You may not get time to mourn and grieve for the departed soul
The world expects action from you and you need to clear up your hole
The soul expects release from the world and needs you as the final guiding light
Why then should one remain ignorant and in darkness when still journeying in flight!

Aptly said my friend. After a long day's work of going through some firm decisive actions at work, your poem is a validation of the choices I had to make today. It was a revelation of my character as well as others around me in arriving at these choices.
